When is a specific category required? 

A specific category is required if you plan to fly outside the open category rules (height, distance, weight, urban environment, cargo drop, remote signal transfer to another device, etc.). 

How to obtain a specific category operating permit? 

To obtain a permit for flights, a risk assessment must be conducted, an operating manual must be prepared, pilots must be trained in theory and practice, and they must pass exams. Sounds complicated? What is included in the specific category package? 

• identification of the nature of the flights, determination of requirements and selection of the scenario; 
• conducting a risk assessment according to the selected flight scenario; preparation of an operating manual; 
• theory training in the specific category and preparation for the theory exam; theory exam acceptance (also at the client's location); 
• practical skills assessment and training, issuing pilots with PDRA-S01, S02 or G03 accreditation. 

There is also the possibility of choosing individual blocks from the offer.
